Three London Walks

After my recent work related trips here, here and here in London, I obviously had not had enough as my wife booked us in to a hotel and restaurant visit to celebrate my birthday. This led us on three walks:

First from the restaurant La Chapelle which is built in a converted victorian church…:

…Around Spitalfields market where the contrast between the modern city skyscrapers and the everyday life of the streets could not be more striking:

…To Liverpool Street Station:

A second walk took us over Hungerford Bridge at the end of the day…:

…To the skateboarders playground under Waterloo Bridge:

…And then back over Hungerford after sundown looking down on the Embankment:

The next day the third walk took us from the back streets around Earl’s Court…:
